There was a spot of moisture in the air. Just a spot. So that my throat was able to open to enjoy breathing. It meant that I could talk and run - and feel good.
 

And my running partner wisely suggested early in the run.
 

"Make friends with the weather. Listen to her. Don't fight her. Feel her rhythms and don't push too hard"
 

So these meditative musings must have worked for me. I felt that running buzz. It felt good. The week before it had only felt bad. Really bad.
 

But this week I ran and stared at the leaves and got that euphoria again.
 

Thank you frontrunners - not only do I get fitter but my fellow runners teach me how to be at ease in the world.
